Pumpkin
Fest 2006
This was the first Pumpkin Fest for my
family. We moved up from Queens, New York on May 28th
of this year. It was very interesting to say the least.
I never saw such enormous pumpkins in my life. The smallest
was 37.3 pounds, the winner was 1225.3 pounds and one
at 1237.9 pounds but did not qualified to compete. They
were something to see!
The Pumpkin Fest is one of the major events in the area
and is usually held at the end of September, if you
have the time; it would make a great weekend trip.
