The following is a list of events going on in and around
Cooperstown. These events can be daily, weekly or span a few weeks and
they can be on-going events. We also have major events that happen every
year; there is the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s induction weekend
(which is more like a weekly event), the Pumpkin Fest (the last weekend
in September), The Changing Colors Fall festivals of the Upper Catskills
(which are string of events going from September through October) and
the Cooperstown Winter Carnival (Febuary).

Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This ceremony honors new inductees
as well as recognizes Ford C. Frick Award winner and J.G. Taylor Award
winner. Weather permitting, the ceremony takes place on the lawn of
the Clark Sports Center. Professional interpretors are provided for
the hearing impaired. A blanket or lawn chair is recommended for comfortable
viewing. The ceremony usually lasts two hours. Refreshments are sold
on-site and complimentary water is provided.
